About Us

Georgie’s Beauty Salon is set in the heart of the vibrant town of Whitchurch. Georgina Faye Allwood has seized the amazing opportunity to launch her new business, where she will be joined by two experienced therapists offering a wide range of treatments.

The salon has a fresh new look complementing Georgie’s own taste and style but offering a great relaxation space for clients to get away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre and enjoy the calm and tranquil setting. The combination of a brand new range of products and highly trained certified skin care specialists will ensure clients experience an in-depth skin analysis with recommendations best suited to their specific needs. Holistic aspects are incorporated to ensure clients feel relaxed, nourished and refreshed after their treatments.

I have always had an interest in the beauty industry and initially trained in 2002. I also spent two years studying performing arts as my original plan was to work in theatre and film makeup. Then after having my daughter I made the decision to go back to my original passion, refresh my skills with further training and return to the industry. I was loving life and happy in the profession when out of the blue the chance to open my own salon came my way fulfilling a lifelong aspiration. And so Georgie's Beauty Salon was born.

After leaving school I went straight into training enabling me to work in the beauty industry. I supplemented this with further training in 2009. A change of direction took me into the glamorous side of the motor industry, but I have now taken the leap back to my passion to work in a salon and use my artistic skills doing nails. I have been a mobile nail technician for several years alongside the ‘day job’ so I am very excited to finally get the chance to focus on beauty and nails full time at Georgie’s Beauty Salon.
